A. No. This is a retail business that requires management
and personnel development skills. You can take advantage
of the years of experience Get A Waff and its staff
have acquired in the retail belgian waffles business.
Q. DOES MY FRANCHISE HAVE A PROTECTED TERRITORY?
A. Yes. No other franchise or company-owned store will be
permitted to open in your defined territory.
Q. CAN I SELL MY GET A WAFF STORE AND TRANSFER MY FRANCHISE?
A. Yes. You can sell your Get A Waff Store and transfer
your franchise with our prior consent.
Q. WHAT TYPE OF FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
A. Single unit franchise, as well as, multiple unit area
development agreements are available for qualified individuals.
Q. WHAT INITIAL SERVICES DO I RECEIVE?
A. Our team assists you during the development phase of
your franchise with site selection, store layout and design,
equipment specification, product procurement, management
training, and more. We will work with you to ensure that
everything goes smoothly for the opening of your store.
Q. WHAT TRAINING DO I RECEIVE AS A NEW FRANCHISEE?
A. Each new franchise owner and store manager is required
to attend a one (1) week training program at the Get A Waff corporate headquarters in Gatlinburg,TN. The program
consists of both in-store and classroom instruction, and
includes all necessary information and training to become
an Get A Waff franchisee. In the pre-opening days
of your operation, we will be on hand to provide additional
training to you and your staff and to assist in the opening
of your store.
Q. WHAT CONTINUING ASSISTANCE CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?
A. The support and assistance you receive is comprehensive
and complete. It begins the moment you are accepted as a
franchise owner and continues throughout your tenure with
us. Our team provides on-going support and assistance in
the efficient operation of your store, all intended to maximize
your gross volume and bottom line profits. Our corporate
staff is dedicated to one ideal: our success is dependent
upon your success.
Q. WHAT PRODUCTS AM I REQUIRED TO SELL?
A. You are required to sell only Get A Waff approved
menu items. Any additional items must be approved in writing
by us as consistent with the image and quality standards
of the Get A Waff System.
Q. WHERE DO I PURCHASE THESE PRODUCTS?
A. To insure quality, consistency, uniformity, convenience
and savings for our franchisees, the Get A Waff ready-mix
is purchased from suppliers designated by Get A Waff.
These products are proprietary products that have been exclusively
developed for Get A Waff. The Get A Waff ready-mix includes key ingredients that are
imported by Get A Waff Corporation, because these key ingredients are just not existing in the US. That assures an exclusive product for the Get A Waff franchisee that can not be reproduce by the competition.
Q. WHAT IS THE SIZE OF A GET A WAFF STORE?
A. The size of a Get a Waff store varies from 100
to 500 square feet, depending upon the demographics and
the type of location being leased.
Q. HOW DO I SELECT THE RIGHT SITE?
A. With the assistance of a qualified commercial real estate
agent, you will identify potential locations. We provide
tools for reviewing sites formulated on experience-based
criteria, and provide consultation regarding the selection
of potential sites. All locations must be approved by Get A Waff. Typically, stores will operate out of leased premises
in heavy walking traffic cities or neighborhoods and any place where heavy walking traffic occured, as airport, downtown location, beaches, malls, etc... .
Q. HOW MUCH IS THE FRANCHISE FEE?
A. The franchise fee is Twenty-nine thousand ($29,000) dollars.
Q. WHAT IS THE TERM OF THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT?
A. The term of the franchise agreement is ten (10) years. You may renew the franchise agreement for consecutive
additional option terms equal to the new or extended term
of the lease
Q. IS THERE A RENEWAL FEE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL OPTION TERM?
A. Yes. The renewal fee for each additional option term
Q. HOW MUCH IS THE CONTINUING ROYALTY FEE?
A. That's the good news. A Get A Waff franchisee does not pay any royalties for the first twelve months. 6% of gross as franchise fee thereafter.
Q. WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT REQUIRED TO OPEN A GET A WAFF
A. The estimated initial investment required ranges from $61,500 to $140,000.
